The seed has been planted

It’s important to understand that you won’t necessarily receive 100% results from the insight you’ve just been given.

It may take 6 months for you to fully grasp and receive the depth and transformation that an insight has to offer.

So be patient, and trust that your consciousness is working in the background.

Meaning that you don’t always need to be focusing on your growth and inner work for it to be happening.

It’s not like manifestation only works when you’re doing inner work.

Manifestation is life.

Life is manifestation.

Imagine there’s a net behind you, and any time you don’t fully get an insight, it’s still being caught by your consciousness.

The seed has been planted.

It’s growing.

And will flower at the exact right time.

Unless you annoy the fuck out of it by not believing in it.

Get yourself a mentor to help you master being patient, not in a way of denying your desires, but because you’ve become that damn connected to yourself that how fast or slow things happen really doesn’t matter anymore.

You’re present in the moment and enjoying yourself without the emotional neediness of needing to be anywhere else in order to feel good enough.

Now that’s what I’m talking about.

I wanted to be wanted

For the longest time I wanted to be wanted.

I wanted to be seen, recognised, acknowledged, and validated.

I wanted all of this to happen without me needing to do anything.

Without me needing to go and get it, I just wanted it to happen.

Whether it be wanted by girls, picked for the sports team, or the funny guy at the party.

I wanted the allure of a movie star without the reality of being one.

I wanted to be wanted and noticed in an effortless kind of way.

And I also wanted to be better than others, or seen as more special or having something that other people didn’t.

This all came from my little boy.

Who’s heart was closed and unwilling to open until he first was shown love.

Who tried to build himself up to be impressive and to be loved for those reasons instead of just being loved for who he is.

The irony is that all of these attempts are based in fear and disconnect from self.

It was like “show me you love me first, and then I’ll open my heart to you.”

Which is so backwards because you can’t receive with a closed heart.

And you need to be willing to go through your wounds of rejection and vulnerability to show/give love first.

To yourself and to others.

The boy grows up, and becomes a man.

Love (and not just intimate love) becomes his primary motivator.

Sharing, instead of trying to get, is the new way of being in the world.

And immediately life is more enjoyable because you are being loving, instead of harbouring the pain of rejection and trying to get love from the world.

Boy or girl, the shift for you here is to open your heart to the pain of rejection you’ve been holding onto.

Feel how rejected you’ve felt in your life, and be committed to becoming the man or woman that you want to BE in this world.

Not enough

As you go to recognise the positive aspects of yourself, you will likely be met with a shadow that immediately talks shit about those parts and attempts to highlight why they are ‘not enough’.

Know that this is just the shadow projecting its own feelings of not enoughness onto the other parts of yourself in an attempt to hide its pain (yes, projection happens internally as well).

Classic bullying 101. Make others look bad to take the attention off yourself.

Don’t believe the shadow, and instead feel the pain that it is projecting.

Look directly at it with your awareness and open your heart to the pain.

It will eventually shift.

Then you will truly SEE yourself and the magnificence that you are.

And as you see yourself anew, you will create a new life for yourself.

Rinse and repeat.

Devote your life to continually opening your heart to the pain you hold within and you will heal.

You’ll feel free, loving, joyous, grateful and excited.

Letting go, surrender, and healing

The options to let go, surrender and heal are available to you at all times.

Will you be able to heal from this? Yes.

Will you ever be able to let go of that? Yes.

So, you don’t need to worry that you won’t, which is one of the greatest conscious and unconscious worries we have…

That we will be stuck like this, (in pain, with pain and so on) forever.

Which just isn’t true.

Letting go, surrender, and healing are all available to you, so you can relax.

But because pain feels like it will last forever if we weren’t to actively get right of it, we push back up against this fear.

For the fear of staying the same.

The combination of this pain and fear then creates the doubt as to whether or not you’ll ever get out of it.

This doubt attributes to endless amount of suffering.

Let’s call this doubt a misunderstanding.

All suffering is built upon misunderstanding the true nature of reality.

For if we all truly understood Life on an embodied level of knowing and being then we’d all be enlightened and there would be no pain and suffering.

We would be free.

But because this is not the case, we are involved in the suffering of the human experience, which is built upon misunderstandings.

Correcting these misunderstandings is what dissolves pain and has you experience the deepest, most joyful, loving, fun, and amazing states of calm and inner-peace.

Which is what you are.

These moments and experiences are when you more deeply understand what Life is, and you know it because you feel it, you remember that IT (life) is what you are.

And so there’s nothing to be afraid of.

Worry disappears.

Anxiety washes away.

The busyness of your mind calms.

The tension in your body relaxes.

And because you have subtracted suffering from the equation, you are left with the beauty of Life.

Which is how the truth is, always.

As your body relaxes and opens you get hit with an immediate sense of deep relief.

Where you feel calm, at peace, free, trusting and supported.

You’re still.

There’s silence.

And you can deeply rest.

Then you’ll slip back into unconsciousness and such is life.

Rinse and repeat through deeper and deeper levels of knowing.

As you continue to build upon, strengthen, enhance and enlighten this beautiful inner sanctuary that is your connection to yourself.

Where feelings of self-security, safeness, support and nurturing are parked 24/7.

And now to deepen my initial point.

Pain left to be won’t stay that way forever, it will transform.

But when you push back up against it, you won’t ever give it the chance to leave.

In fact, when you let pain be, by holding a space of love and acceptance for it, it will pass in the most beautiful way, even though it will hurt.

As love transforms fear.

But fear does not.

And so I invite you to correct these misunderstandings within your consciousness and gift yourself a more loving experience of life.

Both towards yourself and those around you.

You will always benefit from this.

The options to let go, surrender and heal are available to you at all times, use them wisely.

When it comes to surrender…

There are two main fears that you need to surrender to.

1. The fear that what you’re feeling will never go away, never change, and that you’ll always stay the same/feel this way.

Negative emotions and feelings feel like they’re going to go on forever, and that if they were to be left alone that they’d never change.

But just because this is how the feel, doesn’t mean that this is what will happen.

When you leave your pain alone, while simultaneously holding a space of love for it, it will pass.

To truly surrender, you can’t go into it with an attachment to change.

Because if there is an attachment to change, you’re telling yourself that the change is how things ‘should’ be and therefore how you’re currently feeling ‘should not’ be, and this will form a resistance.

You will be in resistance to what is present for you, and if that is pain you will resist it.

As a result it will stay the same and you will suffer.

Our attempts to CHANGE the present moment stem from the judgement that it shouldn’t be this way and the fear that it always will be.

Surrender to this and you’ll heal more deeply than you ever have before.

2. At its core, surrender is a practice of surrendering to uncertainty.

You just don’t know what’s on the other side of your pain.

You will try to tell yourself that things will be better, but this can easily lead to attachment.

The ego loves certainty, and so is always trying to control every little element of every single moment.

Therefore, surrendering to the fear of uncertainty, of not knowing what’s on the other side but letting go anyways, can be fucken scary.

But it will have you go deeper than ever before.

Then with time, this practice will grow your trust, faith and confidence in surrendering.

And you will reach an inner depth of calm, peace, presence and confidence that feels absolutely amazing.

Because your fear of pain lasting forever and your fear of uncertainty are no longer there.

The discomfort of pain will come again, but the deep fear of the pain has significantly diminished.

Leaving you feeling confident and peaceful.

Be aware of these fears next time you go within.

When you no longer fear fear, you’ve reached an empowering level of confidence.
